Good morning.
We’ve reached that sweetest point of the year here in the White Mountains. Chilly nights followed by temperate days. The air is as crisp as the leaves underfoot. And now that the rains have returned, the rivers run clean and cold again. This is the season of beguilement, where we are invited to soak in the last best light, while preparing to cocoon for the upcoming darker months. Dark as in cozy—not as in our current events—where candles and reading nooks, extra blankets and hearty soups embrace us.
