Reflections from Monument Valley

Trekking toward Monument Valley.

I have a lot to catch you up on. Thankfully, tomorrow we will pull into our next base and stay four nights, perhaps as many as six. It will allow me time to write.

The past two days at the Grand Canyon were brilliant, and it was luxurious to spend two nights in one spot for the first time since leaving Cape Cod. Oh, and while that old Cape light is magnificent, the South Rim put on a show for us—both at sunrise and sunset.
