My apologies. Letters meant for you yesterday and today have been delayed due to a minor health issue.
I won’t take you too far down the rabbit hole of everything my body went through seven years ago with the Pupu Platter of Death. Goodness knows I’ve written about it enough. However, I’d like to address one issue.
When I left Maine Med after five weeks of being hooked up to this and that machine, enduring failed efforts at heart ablation during a marathon procedure while having priests circle me like turkey vultures waiting for the last call, it was unexpected.
Most everything is so much better. Alas, one issue has lingered.
My various doctors and I see things differently. I probably should not have survived dancing with the Lady in Black. But I did, and I continue to.
