Postcards from the Road: Two National Parks in a Day
We began the day visiting the Petrified Forest National Park and left at noon. After a quick stop for provisions at the Whole Foods in Flagstaff, we made it to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon in time to watch the elk and catch sunset.
We’ll be at the South Rim for two nights. It offers us a chance to catch our breath after a whirlwind week. We’ll be back on the road again on Tuesday. Until then, we’re taking a couple of days off.
Peace, y’all.
