Postcards from the Road: The Toadstools
Forty miles east of Kanab, an otherworldly landscape exists. We visit at dawn and sunset when the light and colors are striking and nearly unbelievable. This morning it was 19 degrees when we woke up and 17 when we began our hike. It was enough to give me a taste of morning in New Hampshire but in the best way.
