What a bright and uplifting morning it was here today. The town’s annual 3-day balloon festival kicked off this morning. Later today the crowds will arrive for the weekend’s festivities. But we had the views from the K Trail mostly to ourselves as we logged our morning miles.
I cannot think of many better ways to enjoy the trails than with this joyful spectacle.
Onward (and upward), by all means!
