We left the Sonoran Desert yesterday after our morning miles and drove north to the Mojave Desert, trading Saguaros for Joshua Trees. This morning we greeted the sun with a trek and climb in Red Canyon, which is a slice of heaven 25 minutes west of the hell that is the Las Vegas Strip.
