For us, the Olympic Peninsula is always about Kalaloch, the spruce burl forest, and out-of-the-way trails and service roads. Friday did not disappoint. Well, not until we hit the heavy traffic of Olympia, where we had reservations for two nights. However, a short drive through that madness shrunk our stay to one night. We’re back on the road today. As I write this, I have no firm idea where we will be tonight.
Such is the joy and whimsy of a successful coddiwomple.
