November’s longer nights have made their way into our lives. This always signals more reading time, and I’m all for it. Give me an extra comforter, bowls of homemade soup, long walks in the empty forest, and books, books, books!
My first read is the latest Louise Penny, The Grey Wolf. Every year, I settle into some Three Pines comfort food as I reunite with Inspector Armand Gamache and his friends. I’m never disappointed. Sure, it’s formulaic, but that’s to be expected after 19 books with the same characters. But lately, I have been in the mood for things I can rely on.
