Pfizer shot Number One came on Wednesday morning. On Thursday, there were no issues, and we walked a total of 10 miles. We started this morning with 6 miles, but halfway through, I wanted to cozy up and go to sleep. I’m sure to had tp to do with the vaccine. It did not help that the sky was gray while the thermometer read 40 degrees.
On Wednesday, it was 90 degrees and humid. We slept with the windows closed for a change and the air conditioner blasting. Last night, there was an extra blanket on the bed with a frost advisory in the forecast. When we walked early today, it was in full fleece with gloves and a hat. These are interesting times. Meanwhile, New England, like much of the rest of the country, is in the midst of a draught. The brooks we cross are bone dry, the streams a withering, and the rivers are shallow.
After a quick pre-three-day weekend trip into North Conway for provisions, the rest of today was spent napping and reading. I did get up to make a potato and vegetable so…
