I’m overdue on this monthly post.
As for what I’ve been reading, it’s mostly nature essays and pamphlets about flora and fauna of the places we’ve visited. But I’ve also snuck in a Brendan Slocumb’s The Violin Conspiracy, and I’m glad I did.
Emerson feels like an old friend who is never far away, and his The Complete Essays often surface when we travel. I fall into the pages before drifting off, and at times begin the morning with his inspiration.
