Day 11 dawned with gentle snow flurries that came and went during our six miles in the forest. Once again, we did not see another human until the very end of our walk. It helps that we are on the trails before sunrise. Our second walk of the day takes place when light is failing, and people are nowhere to be found—whether at the beach or in the woods.
