August’s Reading

It’s been a hot day, and a good day. Stopped off at three farm stands to buy produce, played for an hour this morning in our swimming hole, stewed rhubarb for the first time (used to love it as a kid), and dropped off root beer floats for the five gents working at our transfer station in this heat.

Tomorrow, it looks as though we’ll be able to shut off the air conditioner. Temperatures in the seventies will become the norm in the weeks ahead.

This weekend, we’ll avoid the crowds by sticking around the house. I’ve got some new artwork to hang, and books to read. I’m sure there will be some stops at the swimming hole, and maybe even some interaction with Wonalancet.

Now that you seen what I’ve recently read and am reading, what books are you enjoying this month? Please remember to include the author and title. It makes it easier for folks to look into the book if it sounds interesting.

This has become one of my favorite posts. I create entire reading lists on a good month.
