Day 9: Settling into a new house

We've settled into our second rental. It's an old elephantine house, reminiscent of someone's grandmother's place from a time when families were larger. It's far too big for us, with a sprawling old-fashioned kitchen, dining room (which I'm using as a writing room), a smaller space, and a spacious living room. The upstairs has four bedrooms. This place could easily sleep a dozen. It's just minutes away from the first house, and we are only a block from the Atlantic Ocean.
